Job Summary
The Patient Outreach Coordinator facilitates admissions by promoting aQua Dialysis to referral sources such as physicians, hospitals and long-term care facilities.
Responsibilities
- Markets and promotes services and programs
- Strengthens existing relationships with physicians
- Cultivates new relationships with referring physicians
- Reaches out to hospitals and long-term care facilities for dialysis placement, referrals, and other marketing opportunities
- Coordinates referrals with dialysis unit staff
- Maintains reports of marketing efforts as directed
- Complies with all HIPAA, Stark, EMTALA, and other related healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Clinical background as a nurse or dialysis tech preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, Stark, and EMTALA regulations
